The Second Chance Law is the perfect tool for those individuals or self-employed professionals who have been declared bankrupt, so they can start again from scratch. From a legal point of view, the following requirements must be met, although each case should be considered on a case-by-case basis.
You must be a natural person
You must be insolvent
You must have more than one creditor, i.e. at least two creditors
It is essential to have no criminal record related to socio-economic crimes with a sentence of more than 3 years
The debtor must be considered a “good faith debtor”
You must cooperate with the courts
